Betafray is the mascot for the "totally new pokemon" submission of the Poke-Challenge.

Name- Betafray (BAYtuh- fray) (Betta + fray (a "fray" is a fight))
Type- Water/Fighting
Species- Fighter Pokemon
EVOLVES INTO- Betabroll
[link]Betafray is a small, yet hostile, fish Pokemon. If it sees another Betafray, they will start quarreling until both sides are tired.
Betafray have not developed limbs to throw punches with, so they fight by means of Headbutt and Take Down attacks. Despite being half fighting type, Betafray do not learn many fighting type attacks until they evolve, due to having no limbs.
In Onyo, there are gatherings called Beta-fights, in which many trainers gather around a body of water (usually a big tank) and bet money on Betafray, as they fight. These fights are not considered proper Pokemon battles.
Betafray's design is based on the offsrpring, or "fry" of the Betta Splendens (Siamese Fighting Fish)
