This was drawn for my Poke-Challenge 2009 contest as a mascot.


The Pokemon, Combee in a realistic style.


This was very nice break from my usually Sugimori-esque style. It let me see just how far my capabilities in realism were, even though it isn't perfect.
I like it so much, I might even stick it in my portfolio for college :D

Wow, this is probably what Combee would look like! ! I've seen plenty of realistic pokemon art on DeviantArt and most of them went too far with making them "real" looking. This is perfect though! :)
