[link] Weepling are seen in land where forests were cut down or are currently being cut down. They mourn the loss of forests and wildlife, placing offerings (stolen trinkets) in front of lone stumps. when it rains, the leaf on top of Weepling's head acts as an umbrella.
Weepling try to scare human loggers away from forests by closing their eyes, so the two seeds on their head appear to be eyes, and the moss surrounding their face appears to be a big mouth. They don't realize that this "face" is kinda cute too.
Weepling are considerably hard to catch, because they hates humans for cutting down the trees and want nothing to do with them. Only the friendliest of trainers can catch a Weepling.

They should try hugging trees that are about to be cut down. People couldn't cut the tree without harming the Weepling, and nobody would hurt something that cute.
If they were in a game, encountering them should depend on using CUT. Either they sometimes attack you when you CUT a tree, or they never show up when you've used CUT recently. Maybe both.
